Six theorems on three pages (in fact, four of them just cited), plus
corollaries and a few three-by-three examples: Given a trace and the
F-norm of a matrix A [and a weighted difference h(A) of their
squares] in the class of the symmetric M-matrices (called Stieltjes
matrices), the author constructs (and proves) several both-sided
estimates for all the eigenvalues (possibly, of the inverse) of A.
